Kids Ski Levels

Children must wear helmets. These can be hired or bought from all good Ski shops in the resort.

Ages 0-3

Most Instructors prefer to teach children over 3 because their attention span is longer and the human skeleton is stronger. Some instructors, however, will teach younger children. The child must be old enough to walk and take instruction.
Ages 3-5
Ages 5-7
Ages 8-12
Children over 12 generally tend to join the adults groups.

Kids Levels:

Beginner
Have never skied before or only once or twice.

Beginner Advanced
Skiers should be able to snow plough down easy greens.

Bronze
Skiers should be able to snow plough and end the turns with parallel skis on all green runs and be able to negotiate some blue runs.

Silver
Skiers should be able to ski parallel on all blue runs and be able to negotiate some red runs.

Gold
Skiers should be able to ski parallel on all red runs and be able to negotiate some black runs.

Platinum
Skiers should be able to ski parallel on all black runs and wish to explore different areas such as off piste, slalom, jumps and the Snow Park (area containing jumps, rollers and rails).
